Michele Bachmann is apparently going to stand by the fanatical religious right “pledge” she signed, which commits her to banning pornography and fighting “stealth sharia,” states that she believes homosexuality is a choice, and states that black kids were better off under slavery: Bachmann Stands By Marriage Pledge That Links Slavery to Black Family Values.

No surprise here. She’s not going to back down from this craziness — it’s what the Tea Party base demands.

Note that the Fox News article linked above focuses on the slavery part, but the entire pledge is batshit insane.
