I may have time to be a park ranger someday, if not, so be it. For now I find that I am Mike, Vryce, God of Medievia, and I realized long ago what is wrong with the world. I know how to fix it. I wish someone else would do it. I am lazy. I would rather smoke a joint and watch a cool movie. I am no Jesus. I have no doubt that he was a better man than me in some ways and worse in others, just like you. I am not anything remarkable. I am a good man though and a smart man and I see a way to help, a way to be true to myself and my children.

It will take time. It will take 18 to 21 years is my prediction.

This year a Founder will have a child. That child will grow up with the Truth as guidance and with God as their soul, and the God Switch Turned ON their whole life. They will grow up and have a child of their own in 18 to 21 years or so.

Want more twists of the mixing of fiction and reality to come? If you feel any of your insights in your responses to the two questions below would do the story well, let me know. Your words will become the Truth. I hope to include a few replies right on in there. People will read these very words I am typing now and know I told you that your words could be included a moment before reading me saying that they know right now, even as you know as much as they do at this moment in their past, yes I can drive you as mad as I am if you wish.

According to victims' rights advocates, with his past history of child abuse allegations, the former priest should not be working in such an inappropriate role. However, the TSA claims that Harkins merely handles baggage and is not regularly in contact with children.

As charges were never officially filed for the alleged sexual abuse crimes, the TSA did not pick this up in their criminal background check when Harkins was employed.
While the Camden Diocese has settled the cases of the first alleged victims, so far no resolution has been met with the additional case.

Just hearing about your brother makes me tired enough to go back to bed.

He's very active. Up about 6:30-7am, reads the paper, then goes out and feeds the chickens before starting on various chores. Goal is to be done by the time everyone else is up. Then breakfast and leisure activities the rest of the day.

Though I expect some exercise of the "manly arts" today or tomorrow depending on weather. He holds off on felling trees until I am visiting since he wants a spotter/helper with sufficient strength to be useful if there is a problem.

I see that the local Feline Overlords are up and about. His wife is very allergic to cats, so the three of them live in the wood shed. Comfy hay bales upstairs, fed once a day, and all the mice and chipmunks they can catch. Plus folk around for getting pets. I mainly see them lazing about in the grass or on the driveway. Though one plops down in the iris bed about 10' from the bird feeder. Jungle cat mode when he is lurking in there.

I did some checking because there's no way it wouldn't be bigger news if it was true...

My first thought was 'okay, the guy's known for putting his foot in his mouth, but that's akin to putting both feet into his mouth and then shooting himself in each foot.'

Progress, slow but sure.

For first time, gay students at US military academies participate openly in graduation, events

Gay students at America’s military service academies are wrapping up the first year when they no longer had to hide their sexual orientation, benefiting from the end of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that used to bar them from seemingly ordinary activities like taking their partners openly to graduation events.

For the first time, gay students at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis were able to take a same-sex date to the academy’s Ring Dance for third-year midshipmen. The U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., officially recognized a club for gay students this month. And gay cadets at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., are relieved they no longer have to worry about revealing their sexuality.

CANNIBALISM COMES TO SOUTH BEACH!

Miami police shot and killed a man on the MacArthur Causeway Saturday afternoon, and police sources told CBS4 they had no choice: the naked man they shot was trying to chew the face off another naked man, and refused to obey police orders to stop his grizzly meal.

Please tell me that's satire. Please tell me that.

In the comments, the guy who runs the site makes clear it is satire.

That settles it! Otherwise never would have guessed that the site that publishes only satire and has disclaimers and hints splattered all over it would not have published a serious item.//

Shouldn't that be grisly meal?

Although a grizzly would probably enjoy gnawing off a man's face as well, I guess.

Yeah, well if you look at the comments on the piece, its pretty clear some of the people didn't get the joke, and even after it was made clear it was a joke they still used it to tee off on Mitt Romney.

Or 'gristly' meal, if the dude is as old as I am.

That doesn't mean Mitt doesn't actually believe this, because he sure as hell acts like he does.

Someone at the CBS site caught the error and corrected it. Just in time to avoid protests from the grizzly rights groups.

Quick note:

Drudge is posting that the media is "erasing" stories about what Malia Obama is doing.

They shouldn't be erasing them because they shouldn't be there at all to be erased.

Until she is an adult, and unless the activity is political, she should be a private person.

A teenager going to a boy band concert is really, really not national news.
