But the video, posted online Sunday evening, shows Thompson's son making the remark before an audience member chimed in. A spokesman for the Thompson campaign did not immediately return a request for comment.

Good news is the Supreme Court isn't going to block weekend voting in Ohio. This means african-american churches will be able to bus their congregants to the polls right after worship, and the urban polling stations won't be hopelessly clogged on Tuesday, discouraging urban voters as the Ohio GOP had hoped. This should help a lot.

I can really understand being undecided in a local race but I can't in a presidential race. Maybe that sounds narrow minded but with these two guys, I truly cannot.

We are hatched. Also hi. Also debate night eh? How about that thing? Also undecideds are a big myth. Like the Kraken or Dick Cheney. As the great contemporary philosopher Leonard Cohen pointed out, "Everybody knows".

And if they don't they should be forced to listen to Ke$ha until they give up and make their mind up.

I might not be serious about the Ke$ha part. Also Dick Cheney is real. Just like the Abominable Snowman and other old guys that shoot their friends in the face.

Finally able to connect to LGF again - after earlier this afternoon there was another episode of not being able to find the site. Only applicable to LGF, too.

Anyway, we're ready for the show - have plenty of chocolate to keep me awake and sharp.

Saw someone point out on facebook that Romney's been the most gaffe prone in one on one type situations. So, maybe we'll see something tonight. I don't know. Anything can happen tonight but I do feel the format favors Obama.

Someone said that Intrade is taking bets on who wins the debate.....going by the CNN post-debate poll. If the demographics of that poll are anything like their last two, Romney is easy money.

Okay...it's the audience mic that will be cut to prevent follow-up questions from the pre-screened (and REHEARSED!) town hall actors.

I'm watching on CSPAN. No babbling heads yammering away. IMO the best channel to watch this sort of thing.

OK, I have to defend this. (Don't want to, just my little ethical tic in action.)

Body language matters. How you move, matters. If you're facing something unfamiliar you move differently, which gives a negative impression. Worse is the furniture that can leave you looking foolish, clumsy, and so incompetent.

And even if you're sorta used to them there are ways to get in and out which are natural but which still leave an impression of low competence. Think, for example, of people who just flop into overstuffed chairs vs those who sit. There are people who habitually kick to sit up, or who rock side to side a few times.

So yes. If he's never sat upon a bar stool he needed to practice, not merely to not look like an idiot but to sit in such fashion as to give the best impression - Cary Grant, not Jerry Lewis.

Among the many things I do not care about in a president, his ability to sit on a bar stool well is pretty high on the list.
