Maine’s Governor LePage: Black Drug Dealers Are “Impregnating” Our White Women

Feeding the right wing beast
Politics • Views: 51,781

Yes, the Republican Governor of Maine is now rebelling against political correctness. (Cough.)

About 30 minutes into the meeting, which was rebroadcast Thursday night, LePage responded to a question about how he was tackling substance abuse in Maine. He began talking about how much of the heroin is coming into Maine from out-of-state drug dealers.

“These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty … these types of guys … they come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, they go back home,” LePage told the crowd. “Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young, white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road.”

What can anyone even say any more? This is where the Republican Party stands in 2016, with a huge racism problem they keep denying even as their leading politicians feed the beast.

Given his anti-choice voting record, that “issue” will be a young mother with a baby to whom he will deny benefits.

Pure Heroine? Lorde-y.

Seriously though, heroin is more likely coming from Massachusetts than NYC or CT (proximity). And is there any actual evidence of anything that Gov. LePetomaine said being true?

Oh, and the Maine DEA page (the state agency) has a bunch of photos of recently arrested folks - and shocker - they’re all white. Yeah, there’s some minorities being arrested too on drug charges, but to claim that it’s blacks doing this is defying reality (and race baiting too). Interestingly, there’s quite a few women among the drug traffickers too.

Ignore the doctors who overprescribed and the pharmaceutical giants who assured everyone that their synthetic morphine was non habit forming. What this deadbolt misses is, the customers are his people, and his people bring in the pushers because they buy large. Years ago in North Philly on the drug corners a Blue Plate Special was a car with Jersey plates. The dope is just going to where the dope always goes. Where the money is. In Maine it’s coming to you. And they banging yo wimmins too! He’s a bag of fucking hammers.

And yet they’re still occupying a government building, all while they come and go as they please.

Allegedly the Feds are somewhere in Oregon, but that’s probably just a rumor.

So for the second time the government has backed down. Next time, or maybe the time after that, these terrorists are going to take over a small town. I wonder if the government will just allow them to do that, too?

I have been trying to get a better job, to no avail. And the people at work treat my stress dismissively, or worse, even after emailing them that I am Autistic, stressed out, and need to talk to someone in regards to accommodations (Sent that email a month ago).

A huge number of people have gotten engaged around me, and I get to go home every night to an empty apartment, with no hope on the horizon of anything getting better.

I know I am not ready, at some level, but at the some time, the loneliness is burning me up.

I don’t the energy left to keep trying, and I can’t do hope anymore, because each time I hope things are getting better, or they look like they are getting better, they get crushed back down. So I have given that up.

Some people have said this is a test. If that is the case, I am about to fail, because I can’t keep doing this.

Obama’s executive action on guns gets warm welcome in Mexico

Hundreds of thousands of legally purchased and illegally transported guns move from the US into Mexico each year, according to both governments, and make up the majority of firearms confiscated from crime scenes here.

Analysts say the expansion of background checks could disrupt the flow of trafficked guns that play a central role in drug trafficking and the overall homicide rate. More than half of the nearly 20,000 homicides in 2014 were due to gun violence, according to the national statistics agency INEGI.

csmonitor.com

So not only are the gun humpers supporting murderers in the US, they’re supporting them in Mexico too. Another great achievement for the NRA.

And the feeling of coming in to an empty home is the worst feeling.

I would come home to an empty apartment, except for my cats. That’s an honest suggestion from me. Does your schedule or income allow for you to have a pet? Dogs are a chick magnet, if you got yourself even a small dog and took it for walks your social problems would get small in a hurry. I’ve seen it happen.

It sounds silly but taking up a mid-life crisis hobby is a perfectly valid coping mechanism. You’re right that you need a shake-up. I’m in a similar situation - autistic spectrum, alone, isolated socially, and single at 36 in the most marriage- and relationship-obsessed Southern culture you could imagine where I can count the number of single people I know on one hand. I know the pain.

That’s crap that you don’t get support at your job. In this day and age, nobody should be insensitive to your needs like that.

Things that I have to keep sane:

- Cats.
- Motorcycles.
- Several eclectic artistic hobbies.
- A goal of moving the fuck out of this hell-pit state, which I’m very close to achieving.

I know it’s hard as hell to see a bright spot and I’m not going to throw cliches at you, but having a goal is half the battle.

I was listening to the radio when they put Cruz on, and the first five things he said were lies. And there is another one. The GOP has no solutions to real problems, so all they have to offer is fear and hate.

It’s been that way ever since Roger Ailes created Rush Limbaugh to test out his idea for a pure propaganda “news” network.

re: #67 The War TARDIS

Oh WT!!! This sounds like a cry for help.

WE love you, please remember you we are here.

goddamnedfrank  Jan 7, 2016 • 6:58:12pm

The reason the violent crime rate is at historical lows has nothing to do with the easy availability of firearms. The reason it’s low is because of two events that took place in 1973. The first was the beginning of our nation phasing out leaded gasoline, which over the ensuing decades reduced the overall number of people in society (especially young males) whose cognitive abilities were impaired by low levels of heavy metal toxicity. The second event was the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, which did the same thing for the numbers of forced births, which in turn reduced the numbers of unwanted, unloved and abused children, who all too often grow up to be anti-social adults.

I should also say the reducing the number of guns in our society would certainly lower our homicide rate even further. Whether it would dramatically lower the violent crime rate further is another issue, but I very much doubt it could hurt.

The entire point that Obama is making is that we should be looking at every reasonable option when it comes to statistically reducing harm, just like we did with the environment / clean air and water, just like we did with transportation and workplace safety, and just like we do with all other consumer goods.

You need to try to learn how to be okay with being alone. It often sucks at first but is quite empowering actually, and in my experience leads to far better interactions with others. You’re still comparatively young. There’s no need to be so full of angst over something you should be trying to learn how to enjoy.

Ah, reading the comments beings back memories of my encounter with Asshole Hugh Hewitt at the Sizzler Steakhouse on 4th/Vermont in Los Angeles.

Minding my own business, sitting down to have a steak for lunch hoping for peace and quiet when in comes Mr. Asshole himself with a “personal assistant”. They are bullshitting about something. They order their food, take their trays and go to a table. Hewitt goes to the salad bar, fills it up with so much stuff that it barely stays on the plate. He sits down at his table and begins to pray out loud for Gawd, JC, Mother Mary and every other Annointed Saint to not only bless but sanctify his food. He goes on babbling and a woman sitting at the next table says, “Who the fuck do you think you are. Shut your fucking mouth. Sit Down And EAT!”

Applause broke out as Mr. Asshole’s face turned beet red. Then he just got up and walked out as folks jeered at him.

That experience was PRICELESS!

This.

Relationships take more effort after you meet someone. They are anything but a be all, end all. They’re the start of the long haul with ups and downs. Problems multiply. They don’t go away. That’s the unfortunate reality of life.

PLL, go talk to someone. Get some help finding inner peace. Someone else will never make you happy. You have to make your own happiness. Let someone help you do that. Please go find that help. Then you’ll be ready to cope with whatever realities life throws at you.

At least we know what it takes for these people to take sexual assault seriously: Arabic speaking males as the accused perpetrators.

By the way, do not be deceived by the whole this happened at a TRAIN STATION!!11! aspect of the story. The main station in Cologne is directly in the heart of the old city, right next to the massive Cathedral. This area would be roughly equivalent to Times Square on New Years Eve.

That is not to excuse anything that happened there, not at all. Just don’t be mislead into thinking these acts went down in a quiet scene where commuters were headed home after work or something.

You are feeling a lot of pain, and want it to stop. That’s understandable. However, you need to understand that happiness doesn’t come from from outside. My brother’s ex-wife thought she’d be happy if only she was married. When she wasn’t, it was because they didn’t have a nice house. When she still wasn’t happy after getting the house, it was because they didn’t have a child. Not happy yet, so adopt a second. That didn’t work, maybe if she was divorced? Still not happy. She never understood that happiness comes from inside and not from the external world. You need to learn ways to enjoy your life and lessen the stresses you feel.

Lizards have made some excellent suggestions, ways to help deal with your current situation and loneliness. And please, work with a therapist on strategies to break depressive thought patterns and to make life more fulfilling, whatever your circumstances.

I understand the pain you are feeling. I also understand that depression is insidious and very dangerous. You have friends who care and will be happy to provide support. Don’t stop fighting the battle. It is possible to live a happy life, and that should be your goal.

Please take care. And you are not alone.

Yep. Some miserable people stay in a relationship just because they think they need to be in a relationship.

There was a boyfriend before mr. klys. It was not, in the end, a healthy relationship. I wish I could go back and tell myself that now.

Anybody remember the sixdegrees.com website. Was the first social network I joined, maybe the first real one around. Probably one of the reasons I haven’t done the whole facebook/twitter thing. Get all these connections set up and then bang the next new thing comes along. Got to admit, Facebook seems to have some staying power. I have considered joining just to see if I can bring an end to Mark Zuckerbergs empire.

en.wikipedia.org

Quantum Link was much older than Six Degrees. In fact, Quantum Link lives on: It is America Online today.

Back when I owned a Commodore 64 (up, that old), I was on Quantum Link. My wife ran a forum there.
en.wikipedia.org

Quantum Link (or Q-Link) was a U.S. and Canadian online service for Commodore 64 and 128 personal computers that operated from November 5, 1985, to November 1, 1995. It was operated by Quantum Computer Services of Vienna, Virginia. In October 1991 they changed the name to America Online, which continues to operate the AOL service for the IBM PC and Apple Macintosh today.

My wife, who’s from Massachusetts, responded “it’s MAINE. He didn’t even have to say ‘white’ girl. ‘White’ is just assumed.”

“Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young, white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road.”

This guy, man…..

Ted deserves some credit. He’s very familiar with chiseling because he’s a quintessential chiseler. From yourdictionary.com:

(informal) A cheat; a swindler; a con artist.
(informal, Ireland, 20th-century inner-city Dublin slang) A child.
