We’re seeing before our very eyes a desperate man displaying complete insanity on the national stage.

Who would win the presidency today?

Chance of winning
Hillary Clinton 90.7%
Donald Trump 9.3%

Electoral votes
Hillary Clinton 347.7
Donald Trump 190.1

OMFG….

The Trump campaign sent a fundraising email Wednesday morning claiming that “all the momentum” was on their side — and they used what appears to be a map showing only male voters’ preferences to prove it.

The email from the Trump campaign, signed by Eric Trump, featured the following map, according to the Washington Post:

⸨ I M A G E ⸩

One thing I notice in all three variations of the map? Johnson’s poll numbers are falling…and they’re not going to Trump. Either people are telling pollsters that they’re not going to vote…or they’re changing their voters to Hillary. If the latter, then that bodes very well.

There’s actually a pretty complicated org chart about what you can get away with.

Sort of like a caste system where different individuals of different statuses get more or less strikes before they’re called out.

Dudes have a higher starting point than women, but dudes who are “important” get like 70 swings…and maybe some mulligans…before anybody considers making a call.

try-hard
A person who puts a large amount of effort into achieving a certain image, or counter-image, to the point where it is obviously contrived. Rather than achieving an image through genuine personality, the try-hard consciously attempts to fit a certain style through deliberate imitation, forced style, or scripted behavior. That is to say, he/she is trying hard to create an image.

Much more basic: keeping their audience, and thus their income, means maintaining a just-so-story in which the other side is irredeemable. As other sources create new narratives that are more crazy, more reliant on the leaps of conspiracy thinking, Rush and co. have to keep up. Like needing bigger, badder opiates to chase the dragon. This isn’t going to end with Trump. It’s going to be stab-in-the-back myths, all the time, until a total nutter wins.

And when a total nutter wins, the speculation and lies will become true, because that’s the real end game: to counterfeit the past, thus justifying an unjustifiable set of positions in the present.

Shutting off Mark Halperin on BSNBC again. It’s just amazing how he finds a way to kiss Trump’s ass every time he opens his mouth!

I’m waiting for his face on November 8, 11pm Eastern - hopefully someone will be around to smother it with a well aimed cream pie

re: #112 petesh

I skimmed through the comments at the NYT article. I guess the MRAs havent got off their couches yet, because I only saw one comment that was remotely questioning of the stories, and that called them “hearsay” (inaccurately) and came from someone who claimed not to support Trump.

I am not surprised, and I am glad that other victims are coming forward, and I expect there will be more. But I am sickened.

I expect a lot more, and for there to usually be additional witnesses that they told about it at the time. People tend to tell their close friends when they have a really bad encounter with some creep.

“It’s old news, and it’s not true”.

Kellyanne and every single Trump surrogate on the cable tv for the next month.

This, BTW, applies to everything, not just the NYT story today.

I really really feel for the women who are only now finding out that this behavior is unacceptable to most regular people. I have a sense that there are a whole lot of them. The reason it takes some women so long to report these things is that they’ve been told it’s nothing or it’s their own problem and nobody else cares.

So here’s how it will go with the Trumpkins - they’ll say we should believe Juanita Broaddrick, because she had friends she told about it at the time. But we shouldn’t believe these women, even though they told friends about it at the time.

Of course, and that will satisfy his current supporters, because they’re the worst of the Republicans, but he needs to expand his support quite a bit to win,. That will be very difficult with voters who have been awake for the last several months.

re: #118 Blind Frog Belly White

This Trump campaign is the vilest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

It’s 20 years of talk radio/Fox “News” condensed into 18 months, and I don’t think the 9/11 attacks damaged this country 10% of what Trump and GOP have done this year.

Yep, and I’ll laugh, and agree that we shouldn’t vote for Donald Trump or Bill Clinton.

So I wonder if Trump is going to go on a raving rant about the two women the next time he’s in front of a crowd. I bet he goes after them by name.

From the article:

Albakr, who had been granted asylum after coming to Germany last year, was finally arrested Monday in the city Leipzig after three fellow Syrians tied him up and alerted police.

Do you suppose anyone will be championing those three Syrians as heroes who may have potentially saved lives? Me neither.

Just heard a Republican adviser dismiss these recent claims against Trump as “he said, she said” and claim that voters are tired of these allegations. Funny how Republican voters aren’t tired of hearing about President Clinton’s affairs though.

This picture of Trump is nightmare inducing. What is wrong with our country? Are so many of us mentally ill, or just that stupid? I’m afraid the answer is “yes.” How do we fix this? Obviously it starts with defeating this man. What a nightmare.
