Debate Wrap-Up: Trump Interrupts Hillary to Say “Such a Nasty Woman”

Politics • Views: 44,820

The screenshot above shows the moment when Donald Trump interrupted Hillary Clinton as she was speaking about her plan to deal with entitlement programs, to say, “Such a nasty woman.”

If one of Trump’s goals in this debate was to rehabilitate his image as a misogynistic sexual harasser, I’ll go out on a limb and say… he failed. Miserably.

And if anything could be worse than the grotesque sexism he displayed tonight, he continued to suggest that he would not accept the result of the election if he loses.

This was the debate that was Trump’s to lose. A sympathetic moderator, a format that allowed him time to ramble on, and questions that were weighted against Hillary…and he still managed to cock it up royally.

I’m beginning to think the man actually does want to lose.

There’s lots to pick from, but I have to say my favorite moment was when Hilary was going down the litany of things Trump has claimed are rigged against him, and he just couldn’t prevent himself from butting in to say that he should have won that Emmy. Just a revealing moment that underlines what a petty little shit the man is.

HappyWarrior  Oct 19, 2016 • 8:05:03pm

20 more days. I am glad the debates are over. I think Clinton did well at each and every one of them. She presented herself as someone both knowledgeable on the issues and understanding of how our government works. Trump meanwhile did the opposite.

Kentucky?!?!

At that point, you might be beginning to talk about a 500+ Electoral vote blowout, because Kentucky was one of the states that formed 2 of the Republican Redoubts, one of which is already collapsing.

34
HappyWarrior  Oct 19, 2016 • 8:08:38pm

Repost/rephrase of what I posted downstairs but I am so sick of the sexist shit Hillary has to deal with. If she were a male especially a white male, she’d be treated as an elder statesman and Trump would be a fringe candidate but because unfortunately Trump’s deplorables make up a decent percentage of our population, Trump will likely do better at the polls than Alf Landon, Barry Goldwater, George McGovern, and Walter Mondale. All men with principles who would have ran our country honorably and to the best of their ability.

35
makeitstop  Oct 19, 2016 • 8:08:49pm

I caught the closing statements on the way home from rehearsal - sounded like Trump saying a whole lot of nothing again. Was he like that all night?

If the vote is so rigged then why did Trump win the primaries. Why do Republicans control most of our state legislatures and our Congress? I’m sick of Republicans crying fraud because they can’t accept the fact that our country’s demographics don’t favor them and they have a party that only really appeals to constantly enraged old white guys who think America’s best years were in the mid 19th century.

Thank FSM that I was busy working while this debacle was going on (and my work was a debacle too, for different reasons.)

The scary ass part is that we got enough folks riled up enough that we may see post-election violence should Hillary win.

I was listening to BBC World Service as I was driving home to some post-debate coverage-they had on two gentelmem-one was a Hillary supporter, one was a Trump supporter. The Trump supporter stated that he immigrated legally, joined the Army, got a comission, served close to two decades, and called every liberal a liar, and said 9 out of 10 vioent attacks in san Diego are caused by illegal immigrants. His accent was extremely heavy to boot, and he dropped the s-word, which the Auntie Beeb interviewer didn’t cotton too very well. Maybe people who are interviewed should be vetted….

The shrinking demographic. He will keep the most crazy of the winger no doubt. Solid there. And that’s the problem the GOP is going to continue to have. You have the one wing of the party led by people like Reince that wants to control the rubes and present themselves as civilized and normal people. Then you have those like Bannon who make no secret of their true contempt for large parts of this country and their authoritarian wet dreams. Both are awful and I hope the infighting is so bad that it results in the GOP becoming a permanent minority party.

The fact that she has cut his lead down to single digits in states that have gone red for decades is shocking on its face. Yes, he’ll take better than 40% of the vote, but she is putting his party in danger of its worst electoral loss in decades. I don’t figure she’ll do much better than Obama did in ‘08, but the fact that she did when she’s so “hated” speaks volumes about how badly they’re getting beaten by demographics.

I think she should, especially in potential swing states with iffy down-ballot races. Trump was established to be in the home of a convicted pedophile at the time of the assaults.

She can go all positive in the last two weeks, but that civil case would be the Death of Trump in how it plays in Plano.

Smartest thing she could do is just let him continue being himself for the next two weeks. Let him do everything he possibly can to destroy his own campaign. Going negative is always a gamble and at this point in the game, when Trump’s slitting his own throat, a gamble that doesn’t pay out could turn a sure thing back into a close shave.

He is on the record as having said that when his kids were babies, there were certain things he wouldn’t do such as changing diapers, putting them to bed, feeding them, etc. Hands-on types of things. He seemed upset when he recalled Marla asking him to take Tiffany for a walk in her stroller through Central Park. He went on to say that where kids are concerned, there is a definite division of labor. I got the impression that he thinks that once his babies were born, their mothers were responsible for all of their care.

re: #326 Targetpractice

Smartest thing she could do is just let him continue being himself for the next two weeks. Let him do everything he possibly can to destroy his own campaign. Going negative is always a gamble and at this point in the game, when Trump’s slitting his own throat, a gamble that doesn’t pay out could turn a sure thing back into a close shave.

Not in states like Texas, Georgia, Utah, and Indiana. He’s accused in a civil suit of raping a 13 year old girl. And the case is going forward because the judge has affirmed the basic facts of the case.

This is huge. The Dems have the money. They can napalm Trump in normally strong Republican suburbs, especially among women. This is low hanging fruit.

I suspect one reason he started WeSearchr was to give him another way to tweet without being suspended yet again.

Especially since he burned his GotNews (remember that site of his?) twitter account.

I’m outta here. Got a CPR / First Aid class to teach in the morning. I’ve also just committed myself to doing my IDC (Instructor Development Course) this fall, so by spring I’ll be teach people to dive. Plan is for Assistant Instructor by Spring, then finish it with the 2 day “Business of Diving” training for Full Instructor by end of summer.

What a wild couple of years it’s been.

He tried using a swarm of sockpuppet accounts a while back. They all got suspended/banned. GotNews was suspended last year. He’s obsessed with Twitter in an unhealthy way. No wonder he likes Trump so much.

But Luntz’s undecideds…!

////

Trump has called Luntz a slob and dumb and told him to never darken Trump’s door again, but now with even the snap polls going against him he’s probably going to be feeling some Frankie love tomorrow.

Looks like Alaska’s cosmetic surgeons don’t know how to do collagen lips properly. She should have gone to LA for her procedure.

Dim Jim the SMOTI keeps his title intact:

Reporters at Vegas Debate Caught Cheering for Hillary

Reporters covering the presidential debate in Las Vegas Wednesday night between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton were cheering Clinton and groaning at Trump during the debate according to a report by Fox News’ Jesse Watters posted to Twitter.

Gee, I don’t believe this Faux-SMOTI report for a moment, but if you are going to confine people in a pen, accuse them of all manner of evil, and incite crazed mobs of cave-dwelling gun-humpers to threaten them, you should probably not be surprised, let alone indignant, if they let out a few squawks in favor of your opposition.

Hillary destroyed Trump in three debates.

And it’s not just the presidential race. Betting markets now predict Democrats will win the Senate. Polls have started showing Democrats in striking distance of the House. The GOP has collapsed into a mid-election civil war, with the party’s presidential nominee openly battling the speaker of the House.

Nasty as in she throws a nasty split finger fastball.

And with that I am out to dream of Clinton U.S. Presidential Election victories and Cleveland Indians World Series Wins!

Later!

No. The Cleveland Indians cannot and must not win the World Series.

The only thing that would console me if it’s not the Dodgers… is the vicarious pleasure of seeing the Cubbies fans finally get their holy grail.
