I mean, it apparently *JUST* causes the eyeball to fly out and causes no other physical damage.
And on top of that, the punch is being delivered in such a way that it appears that the monster is in the background and the guy is coming in for a landing, like he’d just jumped over it.

Some people’s brains are broken.
So, right now, in Czech Republic, we’re having a problem with beef and chicken meat coming from Poland; Czech agriculture inspectors have found Salmonella enterica contamination and unfortunately, the ČR imports about 80% of its chicken and beef from Poland.
This problem stems entirely from Poland - apparently, their food safety standards are a joke. Of course, now the Poles are screaming bloody blue murder that the Czechs are inspecting meat products for contamination. Indeed, earlier today, the EU told the Czechs to quit inspecting Polish meat imports by the end of next week*, as they’re saying it’s a violation of free trade. Of course, on this matter, the Czechs did the right thing and told the EU to go pound sand, and I entirely agree, as food safety standards are highly important. The Czechs have no intention of backing down either - they’ll take it all the way to the European Court of Justice if they have to.
(*many Czechs are wondering why the hell the EU isn’t telling Poland they need to up their game in regards to enforcing proper food safety standards…..and yes, IMHO, that’s a damned good question)
TL;DR - the Poles are sending us shit and Brussels is more upset that we’re complaining about it instead of telling Poland they need to crack down.

Going to drop a gripe here about Gale.
I went to see Walter Trout and him a few weeks back. Trout was great, very entertaining and the band was really tight. Gale, while an awesome guitarist wasn’t fun to watch. He showboated the entire show, his ego shined through every piece he did. Plus he has his wife as part of the band, she has a mini drum kit and hits a snare or cowbell once in a while.

The wording for impeachment is high crimes and misdemeanors.
That bar has precedent. Lying about sexual relations was considered a high crime or misdemeanor. Obstruction of justice is a high crime/misdemeanor.
That means that any felony crime - and Trump is alleged to have done nothing but felonies here (obstruction, witness tampering, tax fraud, money laundering, wire fraud, mail fraud, etc., conspiracy against the US) - and each by itself would be worthy of an article of impeachment.
And practically all of those named above of them were as a result of his seeking the White House or trying to remain within the WH.
Moreover, it appears that Trump’s strategy is to try and win reelection to delay the inevitable prosecutions that are piling up.

Someone posted a story from about 100 years ago in the Carpatho-Rusyn FB group I’m a member of about this one Senator who wanted to ban immigrants from Eastern Europe. Some people had the correct response which was we should be the same way to immigrants of today to the usual wingnutty shit “Well he was a Democrat which means blah blah” or “We assimilated and they didn’t.” I posted this and it by far has gotten the most likes post so far. Gives me a lot of relief. It’s meant to be a fairly apolitical group though with that ethnicity there is always going to be some politics given questions about Rusyns being their own unique cultural group or Ukrainians.
Today’s immigrants are assimilating. I went to school with El Salvadorans, Iranians, Peruvians, Indians, Vietnamese, you name it. The same charge that “they won’t assimilate” was thrown at ours too. I’m not going to get too political here but let’s not throw the same baseless charges at people who want the same dream for their children that our grandparents and great grandparents wanted for us.

My sister in law owns a business with my brother. My sister in law’s older sisters both have their Masters and one has a husband who is a law student. Oh and today I went to breakfast at a mom and pop El Salvdaroan place owned by an El Salvadoran immigrant. And you know what, my experience is far from unique. Other immigrants serve in the military, teach in our schools, are our doctors, and they’re just as part of the community as someone born the US originally. Keep your religion, music, food, even clothes-and a lot of people not your group enjoy you sharing them with them. As long as you believe in democracy, you’re fine. He really has a problem with guys like John Brennan being on a network like MSNBC. He obviously hates American intelligence agencies and thinks the Democrats have gotten in bed with all of them because of love for Clinton and hate for Trump.
