Then it’s indisputable that it’ll get weird right quick.
We’ve already gotten the “Lock ‘em up” chants and all manner of projection like IMAX.
It’s what Trumpworld does - with zero self awareness (or perhaps total self awareness knowing that the Trump know nothing base doesn’t care about trivial things like facts) - project and lie and deflect and obstruct justice and engaging in high crimes by the gross.

Jamie Harrison seems like a great guy and candidate. BeachDem has great judgment on candidates.
If Mitch McConnell picked up his hometown newspaper Wednesday morning, the story would have been impossible for him to miss. In a story blazoned across the front page of the Louisville Courier-Journal, a century-old church—“driven in large part by the policies and rhetoric of President Donald Trump”—announced it was reaffirming its “sanctuary” status, and announcing a demand for justice for immigrant families.“When immigrants, black and brown persons, Muslims, LGBTQ persons and other communities are under attack, Christians cannot remain silent,” St. William Catholic Church said in a statement. “We therefore affirm our commitment to sanctuary, understood not simply as offering space in churches, but as an active praxis of solidarity.”
The church has already had “sanctuary” status as part of the Sanctuary Movement in the 1980s, but the Trump administration’s war on immigrants and their families—as well as “tolerance for white supremacist terrorism and encouragement of harsh enforcement by ICE and Border Patrol agents,” the church said—has the congregation going further.
In its declaration, the church demands an “immediate closure of brutal and overcrowded detention centers at the southern border”; that the administration respect the U.S. right to ask for asylum; family reunification; humane immigration reform; and “structural economic reforms,” the Courier-Journal said, “that ‘combat the root causes of poverty’ that ‘push people to migrate in the first place’ and are ‘driven by U.S. economic and military dominance.’”
I actually bet these people don’t vote for Mitch or Trump.
Trump, shouting, says he was asked what nation is toughest to deal with, North Korea etc. etc., and: “I said you’re not gonna believe this: it’s — the USA is the toughest nation to deal with! The USA. It’s true. Because we’re dealing with some very sick and deranged people.”

— (((Chrysi Cat))) (@chrysicat) October 11, 2019
Why do these people keep thinking handguns will do anything?!? Even FFA-restricted firearms won’t do anything against military vehicles and there’s neither a country that won’t call in its military to deal with a full-on revolution, nor one outside of Africa or possibly Central America that isn’t heavily mechanised to boot.
Our choices are to disarm or to let anyone with enough money own anything up to a fusion weapon, if we truly want to make it impossible for the Federal military to control anyone.
The current arrangement does literally nothing to make the federal government fear a rebellious populace, but it does mean that there are plenty of military-grade small arms to be used in terrorism and nothing else.
And yet not even most gunhumpers will admit that their current setup does nothing to make the feds fear anyone.
