George Conway may be in one of the oddest marriages I’ve seen, to someone for whom I have very little respect, but he makes a lot of sense and knows what he’s talking about. So hey, I’m not judging. He’s a member of a vanishing breed, conservatives with functioning brains who haven’t fallen under the spell of the evil toad.

Attorney George Conway reacts to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton seeking to block election results by asking the Supreme Court to take up a lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin arguing that the battleground states exploited the Covid-19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws.

Rapidly losing my mind watching an entire political party get completely swallowed up in cultish, anti-American behavior.

Even if we’re still reasonably reassured of how it will end, the process of getting there just keeps sucking harder.

The thing of it that’s getting me is that I can’t see where its ultimate end lies. Okay, fine, they clearly have essentially zero chance of overturning the election by now, but we all know it isn’t going to stop there. Trump is going to continue to promote that he won (even if he doesn’t truly believe it), and Republicans are still going to continue to be conspiratards and go further off the rails, and… there doesn’t seem to be any way of fully getting rid of all the treasonous and seditious elements involved here. Are we just… boned?

On Reid Out, an attorney said that the investigation was apparently opened during Whittaker’s brief tenure in 2018 and may have been suspended for a couple months during the campaign due to DOJ rules. But who really knows for sure?

It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that flipping that one EC vote from Nebraska would be enough for Needy Amin to say he got more EC votes than Biden and end this nightmare.

If you read the whole report rather than the headline, the two allergic reactions reported were in the placebo group, where the placebo was the meningitis vaccine, not the Covid-19 vaccine.

So Texas is stirring the pot, trying to have the election results of other states thrown out (only the ones that dumped Trump). I think there were, but I can’t remember if it was speculation or if there was some stronger basis for it. I definitely wouldn’t put it past her, since she made some kind of “offer to help” the Biden admin.
And I still don’t understand why anybody put her on tv after her first several interviews where she basically just abused anyone who questioned her nonsense. I’m sure she thinks she is just the cleverest with her absurd denials and deflections, but how could anyone have considered her in any way credible? Maybe she was good for ratings with people hate-watching her, I don’t know.
