That Democrats allowed this to happen without a challenge or fight is proof the Democrat party has no ability to fight of the racist whites in America.

The white American population of the last generation for the most part needs to die off so we can move on. (PS: I am white, just in case that is questioned).

Because, of course, there are no young skinhead punks out there. If you are waiting for the actuarial tables to get you to Beulah Land, you're not going to get there.

Last I looked I saw almost no American 'skin heads' out there. Best I can see most 'skin heads' are convicted felons and thus can't vote and in any case they are racists because they come from racist homes for the most part.

The best thing to happen in America is if the so called "Tea Party" demographic dies off. And judging from the number of cases of obesity, diabetes, and other ailments this demographic suffers from (including their push to eliminate govt programs that keep their racist lilly white fat asses alive) they will die off soon with less replacement taking up their causes.

Their children and grandchildren more and more are less religious, less racist and more accepting of gays, etc.

With that said, I am not arguing that the Democrats should not do anything to fight back. By all means fight back agains the racist Republicans!!! But the Democrats don't fight back. That's the problem and the best I can figure out on why that is is because to fight these racist laws will mean the whites who might vote for a Democrat on economic measures might react to the dog whistle racist politics of Republicans and abandon the Democrats.

As the Tea Party-heavy generation dies it's taking the civil-rights, anti-war, union organizing generations with it. Waiting for your enemies to die instead of making positive change is no strategy. Don't smirk--organize.

I am sorry, the Democrats kicked out the "civil-rights, anti-war, union organizing generation" a long time ago especially during the Clinton era. Democrats kicked out labor so Clinton can pass NAFTA, kicked down civil rights by Clinton staging a 'sister souljah' moment to appease racist whites (as if some obscure extremist rapper was the epitome of black civil rights ideas) and Clinton started several 'humanitarian wars' without congressional approval so there we have the Democrats kicking to the curb the anti-war crowd (including voting for Bush's war in Iraq and beyond) .

So the fault is in the Democrats and what they became not in my views.

We're talking about generations, not political parties. I've watched while the Southern Dems moved from the dark a bit to the light, while the nationwide GOP moved from selfish mediocrity to insanity. The Clintons and Obamas are millionaires. I expect little from them, but the alternative is criminally absurd.

There are still Southern Democrats? Most Dixie-crats went from being Democrats to Republicans during the Nixon era.

In any case, I look forward to the browning of America.

Democrats lost all over 30s in 2010 to a party that's far more radical than anything seen in the past. Be careful what you wish for. There are plenty of Rick Warrens, James O'Keefes, and Bobby Jindals to last for a long time.

I'm taking the demographic data from a New York Times article. In 2008, the split was something like 53/45 which means there are still a ton of Democrats out there.

All the Dixiecrats are long gone. WIshing demographic oblivion on a group that supposedly represents the best (see Destro's #5) of the Democrats seems kind of self defeating to me.

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

Holder: We’ve Droned 4 Americans, 3 by Accident.
In an extraordinary admission, Attorney General Eric Holder has told Congress that U.S. drone strikes since 2009 have killed four Americans -- three of whom were "not specifically targeted." For all the effort that the Obama administration has gone to in asserting that its drones only kill the people that the administration intends to kill, Holder wrote in a letter today to Sen. ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

We know how to reduce the incidence of common medical conditions but …
Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...
