EVERYONE who’s a leader in today’s politics (regardless of party affiliation) — From George W. Bush to John McCain to Obama says “Close Gitmo.” Don’t you follow the news? Don’t you read the papers? Only a few — a rare few — have exhibited the courage to offer objections. One of those who objects is the prosecutor of the First World Trade Center Bombing back in 1993 — he opposes treating terrorists as criminals or using American courts to put terrorists on trial. He sees grave harm occurring to the U.S. judicial system as a consequence.
