The crazy thing is, Bush, whom these same assholes LOVED, said a lot of the same things. Even about poverty, hopelessness and terrorism. I think if Obama delivered a speech from Bush verbatim, the Right would declare it to be pro-ISIS screed.

That was about the only thing W got right during his entire presidency. He wasn’t an anti-Islam bigot. Quite an achievement for a Republican.

He could even learn. He stepped in it once real good with a reference to the Crusades, but didn’t repeat that blunder.
