To expand a bit on what I wrote above, I agree with Sarah that the whole idea of “exceptions” for rape and incest is, in a way, a distraction.

But it is very revealing of how extreme the right wing has become that they’re openly bragging about their support for an anti-human level of oppression — not even putting up a facade of caring about the women involved.
