Nice job of sky watching.

I pay attention.

Because I know that the little things which seem “wrong” or “weird” in some way can lead to major discoveries.

For example, the famous observation by Le Verrier that the orbit of Mercury was off-kilter by a few almost-imperceptible degrees turned out to be the first direct measurement of what was later called The General Theory of Relativity — many years before Einstein was even born!

If only Verrier has realized what he was seeing, he’d be the most famous scientist in history!

Studying the History of Science has given me a great appreciation for things.
