I used to belong to a union. And crap, we needed it!
i didn’t say they were unnecessary. i said they aren’t optimal. optimal = not needing one because your employer gets it like i get it.
providing incentives to stick around long enough to not get canned is never the optimal solution. but if an employer can’t get it’s act together, then they deserve the pain.
