Rest assured, one of the first things a Republican winner in 2024 will do is stack the Court to eliminate any doubt. 3-5 new Justices all solidly aligned with the most right wing agenda will be appointed to rectify any problems with suspect members appointed by previous Republicans.

True, but it is also true that any attempt to deal with SCOTUS would be extremely likely to backfire in view of the GOP-leaning media and fickle electorate.

Regrettably the only path I can see for SCOTUS reform is to see if their upcoming awful decisions really lead to a backlash that is strong enough to drive reform.
