and the price tag in terms of billions in aid annually? And we prop up a regime in Egypt that is still anti-Soviet (the selling point at the time) but pretty much is a corrupt dictatorship that has zero interest in seeing a pluralistic, democratic Middle East.

If we have 20 more in the pipeline we are all screwed.
