I voiced the opinion yesterday that it feels as though Trump is trying to beat the clock and today seems to just reinforce that impression. As though he knows something monumentally damaging to his presidency is coming soon and he’s trying to rush through as much of his checklist as possible before it does.

I’ve always believed that - that Trump has been in a dead run to become president so he could stack the deck in order to avoid…something.

I still think it’s potential financial ruin. He’s probably in a lot worse shape than any of us have speculated.
