They sell non-halal beef bacon up here too. It’s more expensive than pork bacon, but not as expensive as halal. I never saw any kind of beef bacon back in Texas, but things may have changed in the 15 years or so since I left.

I’m over here on the PA/OH border. I’ll have to look around and see what I can find. I bet I could get the Amish country store out by my dads place to do something up for me. They do some great cheeses and meats.
