I went back and watched that Clapper testimony that Greenwald’s always ranting about, and he has a small point - Clapper was amazingly clumsy in the way he handled that gotcha question. He should have simply pointed out that he was prohibited by law from discussing that issue in open session. But he got goaded into falling for the yes/no answer trap.

I get the sense that these NSA guys have had it too easy for too long. They’re not used to the cameras and the lights and the whargarbl.
