re: #175 klys (maker of Silmarils)

Just a reminder that I haven’t actually expressed anywhere sympathy for how she looks or being in a gilded cage. Or even said that she’s exempt from criticism for things that she has said.

My contributions have been solely on the topic of slut-shaming. I absolutely believe that it is appropriate for her to face the consequences of shit she has said and done that is within the political sphere; all I want is to see the response appropriate to the topic at hand, instead of venturing off into unrelated things like her career.

Sorry—I wasn’t clear about my comment regarding people feeling sorry for her—-it seemed to be a general theme early in the thread, not anything you said.

I was just trying to say that while I don’t agree with slut-shaming, I do not find her a sympathetic figure.
