Well, we’ll have to disagree on this one. I think “ignoring” and “missing” and “remaining silent” on the birthers is exactly the right thing to do. Even acknowledging them is lending them more substance than they deserve.

She could have simply said: “Obama is clearly a citizen of the US, but and we have real issues that need to be dealt with, and his citizenship is not one of them.”
