I’ll spot you that. By far, the biggest reaction I personally run into is straight-up fear that the car is going to die in the middle of nowhere, and you’ll be devoured by a pack of wolves because gas-powered cars never, ever run out of fuel.

Well, I’ve never run out of gas. Which probably explains why I haven’t been eaten by wolves.
That said, I think electric vehicles are aren’t for lot of people with long commutes or who travel significant distances for vacation or other purposes. There will ultimately be ways to overcome that, but right now, range is a problematic.
