Within Anchorage there is a huge moose population - and clear distinctions between - city moose and country moose behaviors.

An occasional bear wanders into DT Anchorage from time to time - it’s expected.

I almost got run over by a deer on a quiet street in the East Bay a while ago.

Animal control was rather irritated with me when I suggested they try to get it before it caused havoc on San Pablo Avenue.
