I saw Titanic in the theater when it first came out, and found it entertaining. Smaltzy, by-the-numbers romantic tragedy with a soupçon of historical accuracy. (Oh, so the ship split in two on the way down!)

When I saw the 25th anniversary 3D version, I was less impressed. Maybe it was all those hundreds of times hearing the damn Celine Dion theme song.
The Chinese LOVE them some Celine Dion and My Heart Will Go On and On and On and On.
