It’s hard to run a first class hospital, or school for that matter, without employing non-Catholics in key positions. The Church want’s it both ways, to reap the benefits of inclusive hiring practices, to take credit for the wide ranging expertise and skills provided by such a policy, while still imposing certain doctrinal restrictions on their non-Catholic employees.

They used to do it with nuns. Screwed that one right up, didn’t they?
