I didn’t know of Ben Wittes until Trump. And for the most part I like his appeal to logic and reason over emotion. But recently there have been a couple of occasions where I feel he’s bending a bit for some reason, perhaps to keep credibility with his conservative colleagues in legal circles, or perhaps that’s just who he is and his anti-Trump stuff masked him as a more conservative person than I thought. I don’t mean to trash him. I’m just curious.

I don’t know him or his writings but I think he was being way generous on calling Kavanaugh honorable especially since it seems he may have perjured himself on many an occasion to protect partisan fuckery. I don’t doubt he’s probably a loving husband and a decent basketball coach to those girls but professionally I’m not seeing honor or decency.
