Here at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek we share with herds of wild turkeys, thousands of deer and a few coyotes.

Rumor has it we have a puma or two as well - I’ve never seen one or any sign - but with that many deer around and all the open space there must be one or two.

Mountainview Cemetery in Oakland has at least one puma (an occasional partially eaten dear carcass is the indicator) and much smaller deer population.

And this is why I love it when Europeans scold us about our horrible rape of Earth Mother Gaia.

Hey, Euros? We still have ample megafauna in the US that are capable of killing and eating you.
