Yeah, but nobody told Kentucky and the other miners. They are retrofitting a coal power plant here to gas and it’s freaking huge. And they are going to put another plant next to it. I think I’m outside the blast zone. Half kidding.

Actually, we did - but they didn’t want to listen to facts. It was so much easier to believe the lie that the jobs were coming back than to understand that they weren’t and you needed to plan for a future without mining.

Of course, the GOP will not only watch as the mines close, but will fuck over the miners as they gut the health care the miners rely upon - up to and including Obamacare/ACA.
