I’m not going to lie, I’m starting to recover my confidence at this point. The more-or-less legal voter suppression methods they’re using haven’t seemed to slow the unending tide of negative publicity or ratings losses. I think, at this point, the most likely scenario is:

1) Trump and Co. try something blatantly illegal
2) The media make some halfhearted attempts at calling him out, expressing “concern”
3) Some popular social media legal eagle starts a fire
4) Trump and Co realize, in that moment, they fucked up
5) The measure is quietly revoked behind the scenes
