No one is forced to work for a Catholic organization.

Concur. Perhaps a compromise could be reached. How about requiring the insurance companies that sell to religious institutions offer a low-cost contraceptive ‘bolt-on’ that employees can pay for out-of pocket. That means the church is no longer paying for it, which would remove the practical objection.
