I’d heard that a quite some time ago - IIRC, he made some oblique passing reference to putting the USD back on a gold standard during the campaign.

One source claims Trump and new Fed chair will set the gold price at $10K somehow.

Needless to say, most business people and economists are not keen on this idea.
