No different than law enforcement contacting a security company to get help accessing a high tech safe.

When law enforcement has a warrant to get into a safe they think is booby-trapped to incinerate the contents when accessed… law enforcement has their own staff to try to figure out a way in. They don’t demand the safe company develop a workaround that disables the feature.
