This is part of a nuanced discussion: rape, theft, assault are always wrong, but a person who is aware of the situation and potential dangers and still knowingly provokes an attack has to bear some (partial if however slight) share of responsibility.

When a cop dies on the job, is there a share of responsibility there because he knew about the risks involved?
