For the record, I think it’s an either or thing. Some are just racist. But having seen the Conservative Movement from the inside during law school, I think there are a lot of people who are honest in their belief of the ideology. And some who believe process is vastly more important than outcome - and while I believe process is important, I also believe you can’t ignore or excuse unjust outcomes.
