I didn’t really start getting pissed off and angry until after I started learning more about the shenanigans pulled to justify the Iraq War, the warrantless wire taps, and the torture.

I never thought he was the brightest bulb in the box, but I think a lot of us center left types were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until he started really doing stupid stupid shit.

Same here. Erosion of civil liberties, unprecedented expansion of the power of the executive branch, torture… But some on the left who hated when Bush did those things have fallen pretty silent about Obama’s decisions to continue many of those policies, or even expand them.
