Glad to hear the one with thyroid issues is improving. Sounds like it didn’t take much for him to decide that the ramps are the way to go.

We set up a heating pad under a blanket for Patches on her last night with us. I think it was just her time. She tried to slip out the back door a couple of times while I was going back and forth t6o the grill and, for a cat that hated the outdoors, I took that as a sign that she was trying to slip away so she could pass quietly and privately.

I was just commenting last night on how I kept expecting to hear/see/feel certain things, only to realize that it wasn’t going to happen because she is gone. It’s strangely comforting to know that, a year from now, I can still expect to experience that.

Sounds like your furry friend is still living well in your heart.
