People were threatened by Colin Kaepernick not standing for the national anthem. The people you’re talking about see anything by racial minority groups as a threat to them.

And they outnumber POCs. And they vote like hell, which many POCs don’t or can’t. Not pissing them off should be very high on the strategy of any minority group that isn’t seeking outright armed confrontation or Republican victory.
