I agree that the social issues are a distraction. I want the out of control spending dealt with, because it’s my opinion that government spending on things that are outside of their proper scope has led to some of these social issues. Just balance the budget, cut taxes, cut spending, and We the People will figure out how to get along.

I agree. I think the rest should be left to the states (where it doesn’t run afoul of the constitution.)
