No sane or honest person can tell me that Herman Cain would have had a shot in hell in the GOP primaries without Obama being in office. He would have been relegated to the single digits like Alan Keyes was.

Same thing with Sarah Palin; “we’ll peel off all the Hillary supports and win this thing in a landslide.” (and just have to say FU McCain for foisting caribou barbie on the rest of America). They still think Obama won just because he was black…not because the Republicans trashed the place in the previous 8 years and people decided to try something different.
