I don’t understand why they emplanted eight embryos. I read somewhere that two is usually the max. Obviously, not all planted embryos will take, but the woman can always try again.

I guess there are no rules, but it sounds like a really stupid thing for the doctors to have done.

My SIL had to go through the horrors of fertility drugs (they are really nasty) and implanted embryos. Her doc usually did 4. She went through this twice. The last time she delivered twins. Yayyyyyyy!
