re: #266 RogueOne

1. I didn’t accuse him of arson, I accused him of negligence. He was burning trash and started a fire, that’s negligence not arson.

2. He neglected to pay for the added insurance of fire protection. He isn’t poor or destitute, it wasn’t legally required, he just failed. (BTW, I mentioned this morning that his insurance company would be forced to pay)

So tell me again, this time slowly, how this is a failure of “privatization”.

You say he purposefully set fire to his house “out of negligence.” So what you’re saying is he purposefully set fire to his house accidentally. You make no sense.

Was the man an arsonist? Did he douse his house in gasoline and light a match? No, he didn’t. All fires except those set by arsonists ARE OUT OF NEGLIGENCE. You knock over a candle, accident. You don’t fix faulty wiring, accident. Fall asleep with a cig, accident. You don’t understand this?

When has the fire dept ever been concerned how a fire was started when determining whether they should put it out? Oh sorry buddy, cigarette smoking is bad for you. We can’t put that fire out. ??

Btw, that’s why you have taxes to pay for public services. So no one forgets or the payment gets lost or they don’t send it to you or a million of other reasons why that payment may not get to the city.
