Thank you—, I thought it might be something like that. I have to say I’d agree; one of the most destructive ideas we have here is that “everyone” has to go to college—no matter what college.
I think we’d be better off with a system where people get vo/tech training at 16 or so and college is available to all those who merit it. Right now we’ve got people taking out huge loans and forced to take classes in all sorts of things when all they really want (for example) is an accounting degree or similar.

I’d say the pressure there has to be top down, from employers to ETS.
