There is a plus side of course. I think that a lot of this Chinese manufacturing has contributed to global peace and was part of the demise of the Cold War. It also provides jobs for a lot of third world people.

Hm, how do I explain this? Yeah, there are a lot of abandoned properties in Detroit. However there are a bunch of JOBS available in Detroit, particularly for skilled automotive professionals. Also a lot of cheap homes in nice neighborhoods on the other side of 8 Mile.
