If he had been a Democrat, the family values crowd would be using this as proof that liberals are immoral decedents. Ensign’s just another hypocrite who talked about family values while bonking his mistress.

People like this invariably have been cheating and sleazing around for many years. He only got caught once.

He’s resigning because he doesn’t want any more of his crappy behavior to come out.
