Perhaps that’s why I found it humorous. It struck me as exaggerated, and theatrical, and this is political theatre. I laughed. I enjoy accents, and don’t take offense when people laugh at mine. It’s not something I mock people for, but finding humor in the way people say things is a long running theme in the halls of comedy.
