he doesn’t learn the repertoire note for note…he jams in a particular key and knows the progressions, or picks them up as he goes along…he’s a fine guitarist and a decent guy (met him at a benfit in DC)…but remember there are thousands of great players out there, every bit as good or even better…just ask Mad Al
