The US does not grant asylum to people whose hometown is overrun with gunslinging narcotraficantes. If we did, we’d have a lot more refugees than we do.

As for ‘they can feed their kids in Mexico as well’…no. Not as well.

I don’t say we don’t need to enforce and deter illegal immigration better, but I’ve worked with too many people who came to the US illegally to judge anyone coming here.

I the US responsible for the situation in other countries? Are they entitled to come to the US illegally because they are poor?
