Of course, the Chinese now are considering directing their manufacturing capacity, developed with our help, to supply their own countrymen. Assuming that they provide every Chinese consumer with a credit card and lots of cheap credit, that can work. They can fund the credit with the dollars they’ve earned from us.

That enables them to decouple from us while we go through our economic death spiral.
