The thing is, there will always be conservatives, and there will also always be idiots who think tactics like these are acceptable. So even though it might disappear as a politically viable position, there will still be people who believe in it.

Well I meant the conservative movement as we know it. There’s always going to be right leaning people no doubt but I hope this is the straw that breaks the conservative movement’s back to a point where they are a permanent minority.
